Mast Photography
Our specially modified vehicle has a telescopic mast that can reach a height of 26 metres (88 feet) to give an elevated oblique viewpoint which is perfect for showing off a building within its environment.
Remote controlled hydraulic jacks built into the base of the vehicle are deployed to stabilise the van and level the mast for safe operation.
We only use full frame DSLR cameras with professional L series
lenses unlike some of our competitors who use budget compact cameras.
The camera sits atop a motorised pan & tilt head unit controlled remotely from the workstation inside the vehicle where image composition can be fine tuned using an onboard computer monitor.
All of the cameras settings are controlled remotely in real time to give a perfect exposure every time with the final images being downloaded to a computer onboard the vehicle as they are taken.
